QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q & A

test.jpg Q. Why are there two Taxpayer groups in Loveladies?

A. There are about 970 homes in Loveladies, and of these about 390 make up the Loveladies Harbor section.

The Loveladies Property Owners Association aims to represent the broad interests of the total Loveladies constituency. The Loveladies Harbor Organization (LHO) represents the unique interests of Harbor property owners. For example, the LHO owns real estate and has paid employees on its staff. It owns and manages two parking lots for use by Harbor residents. They also own and manage Mathew's Point Park on the bay at the foot of Panorama Drive. The LHO Harbormaster oversees use of the Harbor's extensive system of lagoons.

All Loveladies property owners are welcome to become members of the Loveladies Property Owners Association, whereas only those who own property in the Harbor are eligible to join the Loveladies Harbor Organization. However, many Harbor owners find it worthwhile to belong to both organizations.

Q. Where can I apply for a parking Lot permit:

A. The parking lots are operated by the Loveladies Harbor Organization. You must be a member and pay a special fee to use the parking lots.
